National World are looking for enthusiastic, talented and digital focussed sales professional to join our big hitting team across Sussex & Hampshire

We are proud to be one of the UKs largest multimedia organisations providing up-to-date and trusted news coverage to our local communities via our flagship website’s Sussex World and The News. We have also launched a number of “World” branded websites including National World and London World to name but a few. You may recognise our print titles locally as The News, Chichester Observer, Worthing Herald, Crawley Observer, Eastbourne Herald or the Hastings Observer.

Although the role is home based, there will be occasional team meet-ups in our local offices. You should also have knowledge of the local geography of Sussex and Hampshire as you will be working with businesses across our target areas to deliver expert marketing advice and provide the audience to suit.

Some of your key responsibilities will include;

• Develop commercial opportunities with new and existing clients across our websites, print titles, newsletters and events portfolio
• Meet and exceed revenue targets
• Sales via telephone and email
• Ability to develop and win new business opportunities
• Work closely with and support our Senior Sales team
• Account Management
• Proactive follow up of marketing campaigns to deliver high level customer engagement with National World products and services
• Review media solutions and advertising campaign performance on a regular basis
• Educate customers in new media products and propositions
• Effective pipeline management
